Just an ideal choice for a passing visit in Houston with value for the price. The lobby was spacious and had a nice feel during the day. Make sure to check the breakfast options before diving in.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but the unique second door to the next room? Oh darling, quite the nuisance. It's like sharing a room with an uninvited guest all night!
Trying to sleep while your neighbor is attempting to unlock a door is the new version of a horror film. It's like a suspense thriller—too bad I wasn't ready for the sequel!

excellent access to parks and local dining options
the staff were exceptional in offering us some necessities like a toothbrush upon check-in, and the hotel is just a few steps from a Starbucks and only about 2.5 km from the National Museum of Funeral History, making it super convenient for my weekend city strolls. also, as a solo traveler, I appreciated the spacious and comfortable Queen Room with Two Queen Beds that provided a lovely retreat after a day out exploring.

The stay was pleasant overall, especially given the comfortable and spacious Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. I appreciated the nice breakfast voucher, which made breakfast enjoyable. However, the elevator situation was frustrating since only one was operational, causing delays. Despite the minor inconveniences, the on-site dining options were a plus, and it was a good place to stay before my flight home.

In my wife’s opinion, the lack of microwaves in the room was a big letdown for our family’s dining needs.

Overall decent with a few quirks
So, I stayed for 2 nights in a Queen Room with my fam. The staff was super chill and friendly, and our room was clean. The mini-fridge and microwave were nice touches! However, we walked out to a frigid lobby that felt like the Arctic. Plus, the elevator was creaky and kinda sketchy. They do have a great bar area if you're lookin' to unwind.

I enjoyed my time at the hotel, especially with the comfy beds and the relaxing outdoor pool area that was perfect for unwinding. The sun loungers by the pool were a great spot to catch some rays after a long day. Though the check-in took a bit longer than expected, the overall experience was still wonderful! 🌞

Friendly staff but cleanliness issues
The staff were very welcoming and attentive during my stay, making the experience enjoyable. However, I noticed cleanliness was a concern as there was garbage left in the hallways and some areas seemed poorly maintained. Overall, I expected a bit more attention to detail for a hotel of this reputation.

The fresh organic fruits at breakfast had me dreaming of a farmer's market! Plus, the breakfast staff was on point, letting diners take their time without rushing them out. The spacious lobby was also a chill spot to catch my breath before exploring Houston.
However, it was a bummer that there were no microwaves in the rooms to heat up late-night snacks. Also, with no BET channel, I couldn't catch up on my faves. For $200 a night, a little more flexibility would be appreciated!
